Become a Talent Scout From Home: How to Build a Creator Recruiting Team (2026)
Some people just know everyone. You're the friend who hypes everyone up, the one in every group chat, the person people come to when they want an honest opinion. If that sounds like you, you could be a great talent scout.
At MetaLIVE Agency, our talent scouts find people who would shine on live streaming apps, and the best ones build small teams that do the same. You don't need a recruiting background, a big following or an office. You need confidence, motivation and a phone.
This guide covers who we're looking for, what you'd actually do, how to build your own recruiting team, and how you get rewarded.
What does a talent scout for live streaming do?
A talent scout spots people with personality and introduces them to a real way to earn from live streaming. You find them, start the conversation and point them to MetaLIVE. We take care of the application, onboarding, training and support from there.
As you grow, you can bring in your own scouts too: friends, community connections, or people who already know a lot of creators. Each of them finds creators in their own circle, and you lead the team.
Brand new to recruiting? Our guide to becoming a creator recruiter with no experience covers how to find creators on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
Who we're looking for
You don't need recruiting experience. You don't need live streaming experience either, although it helps if you have it. What matters most is who you are:
Confident. You're comfortable starting conversations and talking to new people.
Motivated. You follow through without being chased, and you want to grow.
Willing to learn. You're open to feedback and happy to learn how the apps work.
Good with people. People trust you, and you make them feel welcome.
Connected. You know people online or in your community, or you're ready to meet them.
Honest. You'd rather give someone the real picture than oversell it.
Whether you've streamed for years or never gone live in your life, you can do this. Streamers bring inside knowledge of how the apps work. Newcomers bring fresh networks. Both win.
Could you really do this?
Picture it. You're scrolling TikTok and you see a girl on a live who is funny, warm and great with her viewers. You send her a friendly message. She's curious, so you share our info. She applies, gets set up and goes live on Salsa, and she's credited to you.
Now picture your best friend doing the same thing with her network, and her cousin doing it with hers. That's a team.
Not every message turns into a creator, and that's normal. But if you're social, consistent and willing to follow up, this is something you can do from your couch, on your own schedule.
Why scout with MetaLIVE Agency?
MetaLIVE was founded by Honey, a former top live streamer, and has helped more than 500 creators get started across live streaming platforms. When you bring someone to us, she's in good hands, and so is your reputation.
Easy for creators to say yes to. Joining is free, and MetaLIVE takes 0% of their earnings.
An approved Salsa agency. Creators join Salsa through approved agencies, and MetaLIVE is one of them.
We handle the hard parts. Applications, onboarding, training and creator support are all on us.
Your own tracking sheet. You get a Google Sheet showing every creator you've brought in and how she's progressing.
You're never on your own. Real people answer your questions and help your creators get started.
How to build your creator recruiting team
Start with yourself. Bring in a few creators first, so you understand the process and can teach it.
Pick the right people. Choose team members who are confident, reliable and well connected.
Share the same, accurate info. Send everyone our P!NK vs Salsa guide so nobody mixes up which app creators use.
Make sure credit is tracked. Every creator mentions the name of the recruiter who referred her.
Check in every week. Share what's working, celebrate wins and help anyone who is stuck.
You don't need to run an agency or handle anything technical. MetaLIVE handles applications, onboarding, training and creator support, so your team can focus on finding great people.
Do recruiters and creators need to speak English?
Recruiters need at least basic English. You'll be in touch with the MetaLIVE team, so simple, clear English keeps everything moving.
Creators can speak any language. Many of our creators speak Spanish, Portuguese and other languages, and we use translation tools when needed. Your team can support their creators in their own language, which is one of the biggest reasons local teams do so well.
Where can your team recruit?
Your team can live anywhere in the world. The creators you bring in can be from most countries, including Canada, the USA, the UK, Australia, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean. Creators living in Africa are not eligible at this time because the platform is not available there yet. All creators must be 18 or older.
Salsa welcomes women and trans creators. Creators in the USA, Canada, the UK and Australia may also qualify for an extra monthly salary program if they meet its requirements, while creators everywhere else can earn through gifts, private calls, premium lives and other features. Learn more about how creators earn on P!NK and Salsa.
How referrals are credited
Every creator is credited to the recruiter who brought her in. Here's how it works:
A creator contacts MetaLIVE and mentions the name of the recruiter who referred her.
We send her the sign-up link and instructions.
She creates her Salsa account, verifies her ID and sends us her Salsa ID.
We add her to the agency, recorded under her recruiter.
She completes onboarding and starts going live.
Make sure everyone on your team tells their creators to mention their name. That's how credit is tracked. MetaLIVE also gives you your own Google Sheet with all your recruits and their progress, so you always know where everyone stands.

How talent scouts get paid
This is commission-based, not a salaried job, and you set your own hours. You earn a payment for each creator you bring in who gets started and reaches her first earnings milestone. A sign-up alone does not qualify, so the focus is on finding people who will actually go live.
Build a team that brings in creators consistently, and we can talk about a bigger arrangement. We explain the current terms before you start, and earnings are not guaranteed.
Tips to keep your team winning
Quality over quantity. One creator who goes live consistently is worth more than ten who sign up and disappear.
Be personal. Mention something specific you liked about someone instead of sending copy-and-paste messages.
Never promise income or approval. Earnings depend on the creator, and approval depends on the requirements.
Check your tracking sheet. Your MetaLIVE Google Sheet shows every recruit and her progress, so you can see who needs a follow-up.
Celebrate progress. Every creator who goes live is a win for the whole team.
Mistakes to avoid
Telling creators outside the USA, Canada, UK or Australia that they will get the salary program
Referring anyone under 18, or anyone living in Africa
Spamming strangers with the same message
Letting team members make up their own rules or pay promises
